Control Room & Command Centre AV

One operational picture.
Clear control.

ETA Visual designs integrated control room AV systems for teams that need to see, assess and act on critical information together. Bring LED video walls, multi-source visualisation, KVM control and room communication into one purposeful operating environment.

One room, six connected layers

Not just a wall of screens.

A capable command centre works when display, control, sources and communication are planned as a single system. We map the operating workflow before selecting equipment.

LED common operating picture

Fine-pitch LED video walls make live information visible to the whole room at once — without LCD bezels interrupting maps, camera feeds or dashboards.

Multi-source visualisation

Bring CCTV, VMS, SCADA, BMS, maps, PC inputs, IP streams and meeting sources into a clear, purposeful wall layout.

KVM operator control

Design the right KVM workflow so authorised operators can view and control multiple source computers from an organised workstation.

Coordination audio & microphones

Integrate speech, paging, desk microphones and room audio as part of the operating workflow — not as disconnected add-ons.

Layouts, presets & escalation modes

Create practical screen layouts for normal operations, incidents, shift handovers and briefing sessions, then recall them quickly.

Designed for continuous operation

Plan resilience, service access, power, heat, cabling and future expansion before the room goes live.

Integrated system architecture

From live signal to the right decision point.

The exact platform follows your needs. The information flow should stay clear: bring sources in, manage them deliberately, make them visible where they matter, and give people the control they need.

Live sources

  • CCTV & VMS
  • SCADA, BMS & alarms
  • PCs, maps & IP video

Signal & control layer

  • Video processing
  • AV-over-IP distribution
  • KVM access & permissions

Decision points

  • LED video wall
  • Operator workstations
  • Audio & scenario presets

We confirm source formats, network constraints, user roles, display priorities and room conditions during the design stage. No two operational rooms should be copied from a generic template.

Designed around your response workflow

Give every person the right view and the right controls.

The strongest control rooms reduce hunting, switching and repeated explanation. They allow the team to move from normal monitoring to an incident or briefing configuration with a clear operating picture.

Map your current workflow
01

See

Critical sources appear together on the LED wall and on the workstations that need their detail.

02

Decide

Supervisors compare live information in one shared picture and select the right operational response.

03

Control

Operators move between authorised source systems through a structured KVM workflow rather than a desk full of peripherals.

04

Coordinate

Audio, microphones and predefined display scenes support fast communication as the situation changes.

From brief to commissioning

An engineering process before an equipment list.

We start with the room and the people who use it. That means understanding source systems, viewing distance, operator roles, cabling, power, heat, network readiness and the expansion you expect over time.

Important: We specify the KVM, signal-management and control approach around confirmed technical and security requirements. Brand, certification and performance claims appear only where they are applicable to the selected system.

FAQ

Planning questions.

A short conversation about your current signals and operating workflow is usually the best place to start.

The design can bring together suitable CCTV/VMS feeds, building or industrial dashboards, maps, PCs, IP video, meeting-room sources and alert information. We confirm source types, resolutions, network requirements and user permissions during the planning stage.

Yes. A KVM design can organise authorised access to multiple source computers from a single operator position. The right approach depends on the number of operators, source systems, required video quality, security requirements and the physical location of the computers.

Pixel pitch is selected from the closest normal viewing distance, the wall size, the information density and the room lighting. Fine-pitch LED is often appropriate for detailed maps and dashboards, but the correct specification follows a site and workflow review rather than a generic rule.

Yes. We can plan layouts and presets around operating scenarios, so teams can switch from routine monitoring to an incident or briefing view without rebuilding the wall configuration from scratch.

Yes. We begin with an audit of your room, current sources, operator positions, display equipment and constraints, then recommend a phased or replacement approach that suits the operating environment.
